Facilities Plant Operator

Job Summary

The Facilities Plant Operator will operate and monitor electromechanical plant and building systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mechanical and electromechanical plant.
• Monitor HVAC, air-conditioning, and cooling systems.
• Monitor and operate BMS systems.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and operational checks.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and technical faults.
• Escalate maintenance requirements to technical teams.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and records.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or Electromechanical disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• 3 years' experience as a Plant Operator within schools and kindergartens.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Good knowledge of electromechanical operational requirements and BMS systems.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• English required; Arabic preferred.
