Job Title: Facilities Project Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Facilities and Support Services
Direct Reports: None
FLSA Status: Exempt
Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Manage facility and equipment projects from initiation to completion by working with various internal and external stakeholders to complete facility and equipment projects including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget and timelines.
- Actively communicate with and involve all key internal personnel as appropriate.
- Actively participate and influence in strategic efforts regarding facilities
- Other duties as assigned.
Listing of Facility Project Manager Functions:

Planning, executing and evaluating facility and equipment projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets.
- As necessary, function as a general contractor by building and managing project teams, outside consultants, and contactors and ensuring quality throughout the project life cycles.
- Interaction with outside consultants and contractors to include bid process, contract award, and ongoing construction management.

Complete small projects when deemed feasible.

Provide ongoing management responsibilities for specific areas and activities as detailed above.

Work with the internal resources and determine what can be completed without using external contractors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Job-related college coursework, Bachelors Degree preferred.

Experience with managing Construction and Remodeling of facilities.
-
Knowledge of safety procedures, inventory control, facilities management, project management, negotiation, and other applicable trade skill sets.
- Experience with computer software systems preferably including: Word, Excel, FMX, and CAD.

Possesses the reading and math skills to comprehend blueprints, quotes, schematics, price lists.
- Possesses ability to write project management plans, plans of action, ongoing reporting, and expense reports.

Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance.
Physical Demands:

Ability to work indoors and outdoors, subject to severe weather and temperatures; ability to lift moderate weight (50-60 lbs.) on a regular basis. Possesses adequate dexterity and flexibility.

Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company

Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
