Facility Head is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all facility operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for staff, visitors, and clients. The role oversees all facility services, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, optimizing space utilization, and delivering exceptional customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facility management and ensure service delivery meets high-quality standards.
- Lead and supervise teams.
- Ensure all facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures, budgets, and service improvement plans.
- Manage space allocation, office accommodation, and workplace efficiency.
- Review and enhance existing programs, events, and operational systems.
- Negotiate and manage maintenance contracts and vendor relationships.
- Conduct market research and implement targeted facility programs.
- Lead staff training, performance evaluation, and development initiatives.
- Chair weekly operations meetings and coordinate with all departments for smooth service delivery.
- Support business continuity planning and ensure readiness for emergencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing facilities, ideally within health, fitness, or service-based organizations.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of modern facility management practices, safety standards, and equipment maintenance.
