Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Operations: Oversee daily upkeep, repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and scheduled maintenance of facilities and grounds.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external contractors for services like cleaning, security, catering, and IT.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, national, and industry health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments and inspections.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage facilities budgets, track expenses, pay invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., energy efficiency).
- Project Management: Plan and oversee renovations, refurbishments, office moves, and new installations.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and direct on-site maintenance, custodial, and security teams.
- Strategic Planning: Align facility services with organizational goals, supporting employee well-being and business continuity.
