Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations (Hard & Soft Services)
- Manage all facility operations for office buildings and the Data Center, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil works, cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste management.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all assets and building systems.
- Monitor Data Center critical systems (UPS, generators, cooling, BMS, fire suppression, access control, CCTV) to ensure uptime and compliance.
Quality, Health & Safety
- Ensure all facilities meet QHSE requirements and compliance with local regulations.
- Implement safety policies, emergency procedures, and risk assessments.
- Ensure Data Center operations align with Tier standards and international best practices.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for facility services.
- Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts, consumables, and outsourced services.
Tenant & Client Management
- Act as the main point of contact for building occupants and Data Center stakeholders.
- Address tenant/client issues promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Support client requirements for space modifications, fit-outs, and special projects.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and issue monthly invoices for facility management services, utilities, and other billable items.
- Track budgets, expenditures, and service costs to ensure cost control.
- Submit detailed monthly facility reports covering operations, incidents, performance metrics, and financial summaries.
Team Leadership
- Supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in facility management, with at least 3–5 years managing office buildings and Data Centers.
- Strong knowledge of hard services (MEP, critical infrastructure, maintenance) and soft services (security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management).
- Proven experience in data center operations with expertise in UPS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH, BMS, fire protection, and access control systems.
- Strong financial skills with experience in budgeting, monthly invoicing, and management reporting.
- Excellent vendor management and client relationship abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAFM/CMMS, and BMS platforms.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (written & spoken).
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
Preferred Certifications: CDCP/CDCS (Data Center), PMP, or IFMA credential.
