FACILITY SUPPORT

Facility Support works to create a clean, orderly and safe working environment by performing a wide variety of cleaning and maintenance activities inside and outside the building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs basic cleaning in and around the building.
Properly sanitizes areas.
Cleans floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, picking up larger objects off the floor, and cleaning glass and windows.
Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
Cleans and maintain the breakroom.
Cleans the refrigerator and restocks all utensils.
Empties trash and replaces liners throughout the building.
Stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
Mops, cleans, waxes, and maintains all floors.
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Reports any facility malfunctions or issues.
Follows all health and safety regulations.
Performs additional duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two (2) or more years of relevant cleaning/maintenance experience.
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license or have reliable transportation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery including floor scrubber and buffer.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Integrity and ability to work independently.
Ability to perform all functions of the job classification without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Lift up to 50 pounds.
Understand & practice proper lifting techniques.
Understand & use of equipment available to assist with heavy lifting.
Frequently bend, squat, climb, reach, kneel, and/or twist.
