JOB DESCRIPTION

Factory Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and ensure the efficient execution of all factory production operations

• Coordinate production, maintenance, quality, planning and logistics processes to increase operational efficiency

• Manage and improve processes to achieve production capacity, efficiency, quality and cost targets

• Ensure production plans are executed accurately and on schedule; monitor and report production performance regularly

• Ensure operations comply with occupational health and safety regulations, quality standards and production legislation

• Manage production team performance, support employee development and build a strong team culture

• Implement process improvement, lean manufacturing and productivity enhancement projects

• Work in coordination with R&D and marketing teams during new product introduction (NPI) processes

• Ensure the effective operation of machinery, equipment and production lines; establish maintenance and investment plans

• Analyze production costs, contribute to budget management and develop cost improvement initiatives

• Work closely with supply chain and planning teams to ensure production continuity

• Provide regular reports to senior management regarding production performance, capacity utilization and improvement initiatives

Competencies and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Preferably 10+ years of production experience in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics or fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a managerial role

• Strong experience in production planning, operations management and process optimization

• Proven involvement in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and efficiency projects

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, quality systems and production standards

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a results-oriented and strategic mindset

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from a relevant discipline

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production operations and factory management

• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management and operational processes

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Strong leadership, organizational and team management skills

• Experience in process management and productivity improvement

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams

• Strong presentation and reporting capabilities

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• No restriction for travel
