Factory Manager (Chemical Plant Operations)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Factory Manager with a strong background in chemical plant operations. The role involves supervising daily plant activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, managing production schedules, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety.
• Implement operational procedures, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and control production schedules, output, and resource utilization.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, chemicals, and finished products.
• Supervise and guide plant staff, including engineers, supervisors, and operators.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and quality teams to optimize workflows.
• Conduct plant inspections and address operational issues promptly.
• Prepare production reports and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in chemical plant or manufacturing operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/production management systems.
