As the Faculty Support Administrative Assistant Senior, you will provide comprehensive operational, financial, academic, and human resources support to the Academic Area Chair(s) and faculty to ensure the effective management and strategic functioning of one or more academic areas. You will be a trusted operational partner to the Area Chair(s), supporting academic planning, resource management, faculty lifecycle processes, and departmental plans.
You will be a peer leader within the Faculty Support department, modeling best practices, contributing to process improvement, and collaborating across units to improve consistency and operational excellence. You will report to the Area Admin Supervisor.
This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of a minimum of three days per week on-site. The role may require occasional work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain that authorization throughout employment.

The salary offer range for this position is $50,900 to $59,700. Salary offers are determined by several factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. It is not common for new hires to be placed at the top of the range.
