Family Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Assistant to support busy families in managing daily routines, childcare, and household tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a positive and nurturing environment for children while assisting with household responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being
• Assist with daily routines such as driving the children to school and helping the family overall with misc tasks / errands.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and developmental exercises to promote learning and creativity
• Support household management tasks including cleaning, organizing play areas, laundry, and light housekeeping duties
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment at all times
• Collaborate with parents to understand specific needs or routines for each child and adapt accordingly

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare assistant or similar caregiving positions
• Knowledge of child development stages
• Ability to perform basic caregiving duties including meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• First aid certification
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with parents and other caregivers
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and family needs
• Passion for nurturing children’s growth in a safe and positive environment

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
