Located at: S University and E Dartmouth
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The schedule will, Mon: 7:30-4:30; Tues: 8-5; Wed: 11-6; Thurs 8-5; Fri 11-5. The family is happy to guarantee 35-40 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is almost 4 years old.

About the Children:
This child is a girly girl at heart. She loves princesses, pink and anything that sparkles. She is happy and loves to play outside too!

About the Family:
This is a single-parent home. Mom is thoughtful, kind and looking forward to a strong partnership with her new nanny.

About the Pets:
There are no pets in the home but there may be one in the future, all candidates must be pet friendly.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard family assistant duties including family laundry, family meal prep, light cooking, running errands, light housekeeping, and general tidying while the child is in school.
While the child is home, nanny duties will resume. Mom is really hoping for a nanny who can plan structured educational activities!

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience with family assistant duties
A background in preschool would be preferred.
The ideal candiate enjoys cooking, takes initiative, and can stay organized.
Someone who is interactive, loving, and happy to focus on gross motor skills with the child will thrive in this role.
Compensation And Benefits
Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $28-$31/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $51,000 - $56,400 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:
This family is offering all standard benefits, including 10 days of paid time off (5 days of the nannys choosing), paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
