Are you looking for a meaningful, long-term position where you can make a real difference in a family's daily life?We're a warm, busy family in Pleasant Hill looking for a dependable Family Assistant to help our mornings and afternoons run smoothly. We have two wonderful children (ages 4 and 8). One attends preschool, and the other attends elementary school.This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with children, likes staying busy, and finds satisfaction in helping a household stay organized and running smoothly.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

• Morning: 5:30 AM–8:30 AM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

This position provides approximately 30 guaranteed hours per week with a consistent weekday schedule.

Morning Routine

• Prepare breakfast.
• Help the children get dressed and ready for school.
• Pack lunches and backpacks.
• Make sure everyone has everything they need for the day.
• Safely drive the children to preschool and elementary school.
• Leave the kitchen clean and ready for the day.

Afternoon Routine

• Safely pick up the children from school.
• Drive to extracurricular activities as needed.
• Unpack lunches and backpacks.
• Prepare dinner.
• Help guide the evening routine.
• Leave the kitchen and common living areas clean and ready for the next day.

Household SupportWhile the children are at school or happily occupied, you'll help keep our household running smoothly by:

• Washing dishes and resetting the kitchen.
• Laundry (washing, folding, and putting away).
• Taking out the trash.
• Sanitizing kitchen counters and high-touch surfaces.
• General household organization and tidying.
• Completing a simple daily household checklist.
