Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in family law cases, assisting attorneys with case preparation, document management, and client communication. Duties
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and support matters
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements with accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage and organize case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw for efficient retrieval and review
- Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather relevant information and ensure comprehensive case understanding
- Review and analyze legal documents related to estate planning, tribal law & regulations, landlord-tenant law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, securities law, patent law, UCC law, environmental law, and other practice areas as needed
- Maintain effective communication with clients via phone etiquette and email correspondence while providing exceptional administrative support
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience in family law or related legal fields is required; familiarity with litigation processes is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software preferred
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes including data entry, filing, document review, and contract management
- Experience with document management systems like iManage or PCLaw is advantageous
- Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions
- Ability to perform legal research across various practice areas including family law, tribal law & regulations, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, patent law, environmental law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, UCC law, estate planning, among others
- Strong clerical skills including file organization, data entry accuracy, and administrative support tasks

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
