Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Provide preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, obesity, and heart disease
- Perform minor office procedures within scope of practice
- Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and outside services when necessary
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate and timely medical documentation in the EHR
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, payer, and practice policies
- Ensure charts, orders, and encounters are completed within required timeframes
- Maintain proper coding and documentation standards for billing and reimbursement
- Review and respond to clinical inboxes, lab results, imaging results, and patient messages
Patient Communication
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Address patient concerns professionally and compassionately
- Participate in patient care coordination and transitions of care
- Support patient adherence to medications and care plans
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, nurses, specialists, and administrative staff
- Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and workflow development
- Assist with mentoring or training staff when appropriate
- Support office operations and patient flow
Administrative Responsibilities
- Review prescription refill requests
- Complete forms, prior authorizations, and medical documentation requests
- Participate in call coverage or inbox management as assigned
- Maintain active licensure, DEA registration, certifications, and CME requirements

- Reviewing controlled substance agreements and PDMP checks
- Vaccine counseling and administration oversight
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
