Fashion Designer - DENIM

• Lead R&D initiatives including fabric and trim innovation, wash technique experimentation, sustainable material sourcing, and maintaining a centralized wash and swatch library.
• Develop fashion concepts using traditional and digital tools (including CLO 3D) for virtual prototyping and faster sampling.
• Conduct trend forecasting and support seasonal design development including mood boards, color palettes, and fabric direction.
• Lead styling, look-books, and creative direction for shoots to effectively present seasonal collections to buyers.
• Hands-on experience in denim washing techniques including acid wash, stone wash, enzyme wash, bleach wash, laser fading, hand sanding, whiskering, and ozone finishing.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging denim trends across fits, finishes, vintage effects, and sustainable washes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO 3D for design development and virtual fit validation.
• Strong understanding of denim fabric construction (weight, stretch, weave, shrinkage) and its impact on wash outcome and garment fit.
• Experience in cost engineering designs to meet buyer price targets without compromising aesthetic or quality.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills to pitch seasonal collections directly to buyers.

Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience: 4–5 years of professional experience in fashion design in apparel industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO 3D.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging denim trends.
• Strong fit evaluation and pattern correction skills for bulk production
