Façade Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and driven Façade Project Engineer to manage the technical execution and on-site coordination of high-end façade packages for our prestigious projects. The ideal candidate will be the vital link between design, workshop, and site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 8 – 15 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in managing façade, curtain wall, and aluminium cladding packages from procurement to installation.
• Specialized expertise in Façade, Aluminium, & Curtain Wall systems is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of façade detailing, shop drawing processes, and system interfaces.
• Proven track record in site coordination, scheduling, and handling technical submittals.
• UPDA certification is an added advantage.
• Candidates with only infrastructure project experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day execution of the façade package, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones.
• Review and coordinate all façade-related shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for consultant approval.
• Chair site coordination meetings with subcontractors, main contractors, and other trades to resolve interface issues (e.g., structural, MEP, waterproofing).
• Monitor site progress, prepare short-term look-ahead schedules, and report on productivity.
• Liaise with the Façade QC team to ensure all installed works meet the approved specifications and drawings.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries related to the façade scope.
• Assist the Project Manager in cost control, variation tracking, and progress billing for the façade works.
• Oversee site logistics, material delivery sequences, and safe working practices for the façade subcontractor.
• Resolve on-site technical challenges and propose practical solutions in consultation with the design/technical team.
