Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of new food products and menu items.

• Oversee recipe creation, testing, standardization, and documentation.

• Develop and update the menu in alignment with brand identity and customer preferences.

• Conduct product testing and sensory evaluation to ensure consistent quality.

• Collaborate closely with kitchen, operations, procurement, and marketing teams.

• Perform food costing, menu engineering, and profitability analysis.

• Monitor market trends and competitive offerings to identify development opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, internal SOPs).

• Support new concept development, seasonal items, and special product campaigns.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Saudi nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in food product development within the F&B sector.
  • Strong knowledge of menu development, food costing, and operational workflows.
  • Excellent project management and documentation skills.
  • Strong sensory evaluation and flavor development capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and costing tool


Qualifications

  • Experience in product development, menu creation, and food innovation.
  • Strong skills in market analysis, food cost management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with the fast-food industry and regional culinary trends is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.
  • Relevant qualifications in Food & Beverage Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in burger concepts, QSR, or casual dining.
  • Experience developing sauces, protein products, or signature items.
  • Background in brand-oriented product creation and market positioning.
