Job Description
- Present a positive first impression of the establishment s friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
- Greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter names into the computer system, and show guests to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.
- Inform guest about current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
- Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders and to receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency.
- Handling guest reservation details from the reservation system, table allocation, dietary requirements, billing.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Micros
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- At least 1 year experience working on a similar role.
- Hospitality background is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
