English Teacher (Female) – Early Years / Nursery
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Female English Teacher to deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. The role focuses on developing children’s early language, communication, and literacy skills through engaging, play-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate English lessons
- Support children’s language development, phonics, and early literacy skills
- Create a stimulating and language-rich classroom environment
- Use storytelling, songs, and play to enhance communication skills
- Monitor and assess children’s progress in line with EYFS outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and learning documentation
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
- Work collaboratively with assistants and staff to maintain smooth classroom operations
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s development
- Follow all nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Female candidate (as per operational and cultural considerations)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or Early Childhood Education
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and phonics programmes (e.g., Jolly Phonics preferred)
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Passion for working with young children
