Female - Landscape Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Female Landscape Maintenance Engineer to lead the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and landscape management principles. This role involves supervising field crews, ensuring optimal plant health, and upholding aesthetic and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily maintenance of soft and hard landscape areas, including lawns, trees, shrubs, irrigation systems, and paving.
• Monitor soil, moisture levels, and plant health to ensure proper irrigation and fertilization.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems, identifying leaks, blockages, or pressure issues.
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure landscape areas are well maintained and meet client and project specifications.
• Identify areas needing improvement and prepare reports on maintenance activities and performance.
• Manage landscape maintenance crews, assigning tasks and monitoring productivity.
• Train staff on horticultural practices, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, irrigation engineers, and suppliers for material and plant requirements.
• Prepare maintenance records, checklists, and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors regarding maintenance progress and requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations and environmental policies.
• Oversee waste management, water conservation, and eco-friendly landscaping initiatives.
• Supervise maintenance teams and ensure tasks are performed according to horticultural and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance and management, preferably with exposure to large-scale or commercial projects.
• Hands-on experience in irrigation systems, plant health care, and softscape/hardscape upkeep.
• Strong technical knowledge of plants, soils, fertilizers, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to prepare and implement landscape maintenance plans and schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD or landscape management software (preferred).
• FEMALE candidates only with a valid UAE Driving License.
