MEP Technician - Landscape

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MEP Technician – Landscape to manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within landscaped and outdoor environments. This includes irrigation systems, landscape lighting, outdoor water features, pumps, drainage, and other exterior MEP services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of landscape electrical systems, such as outdoor lighting, timers, and control panels.
• Install, inspect, and service irrigation systems, including valves, pumps, controllers, sensors, piping, and sprinkler heads.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumping stations, water features, fountains, and drainage systems.
• Work with low-voltage systems used in gardens and landscape lighting.
• Support the integration of MEP systems with landscape architecture and design elements.
• Collaborate with landscape designers and horticulture teams to ensure MEP components are seamlessly embedded within softscape and hardscape areas.
• Ensure timely preventive maintenance for outdoor MEP systems to avoid system failure or water wastage.
• Read and interpret site layout drawings, schematics, and MEP design documents for landscape areas.
• Monitor and maintain energy-efficient and water-saving systems in line with sustainability goals.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• 2–4 years of experience in MEP maintenance or installation in landscape or outdoor settings.
• Strong knowledge of landscape irrigation systems, pumps, timers, and control units.
• Experience with outdoor electrical systems, including landscape lighting and power distribution.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and drainage systems in landscaped areas.
• Familiarity with automation systems for irrigation (e.g., smart controllers or BMS integration).
• Experience working in resorts, parks, residential communities, or large real estate projects is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
