MEP Draughtsman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and preparing shop drawings for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the preparation of tenders related to MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed MEP shop drawings based on project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project needs and deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and local regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents for MEP projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing archives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in Dubai.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Revit or other BIM software is a plus.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
