Female Lifeguard (Open Water)

The Female Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of guests using the swimming pool and beach areas within a luxury hotel environment. The role involves constant surveillance of aquatic areas, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest service in line with five-star hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming pool and beach areas to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Respond quickly and effectively to water-related emergencies and provide first aid or rescue when required.
• Ensure all safety procedures and lifeguarding protocols are strictly followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool, beach, and rescue equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Provide friendly assistance and guidance to guests regarding pool and beach safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool and beach areas.
• Report incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues to the relevant department promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Open Water Lifeguard Certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of lifeguard experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or beach facility.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills with excellent attention to safety.
• Good communication skills and a professional, guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to remain alert and calm during emergencies.
