FF&E Procurement Senior Engineer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all FF&E packages Wooden Furniture, lighting, Fabrics& Curtains, Accessories, Rugs, etc.), for the project. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge skills to successfully deliver FF&E solutions, Review and inspect items for quality control before delivery and installation, oversee the installation and deliveries of FF&E packages in site, ensuring flawless execution. that meets both aesthetic and functional goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Selection: Identify and select appropriate FF&E items that meet the project's design, budget, and functional requirements. This includes researching products, materials, and finishes to ensure quality and suitability.
• Specification Writing: Prepare detailed FF&E specifications, including product descriptions, dimensions, materials, finishes, and installation instructions, ensuring accuracy and clarity for procurement and installation teams.
• Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of FF&E items.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of FF&E items during all phases of production, delivery and after installation to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field Architectural / applied art.
• Experience: 3 -5 years of experience in FF&E design and procurement, preferably within the hospitality or high-end residential sectors.
• Design Proficiency: Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and material applications.
• Technical Skills : Knowledge of FF&E materials, AutoCAD, Excel, and procurement software is a plus.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during the design, manufacturing process and installation process.
