Asset Management Analyst – FHA (Miami Office)

Dwight Capital is a leader in commercial real estate finance and is one of the largest FHA/HUD lenders in on multifamily and healthcare properties in the United States. Our range of services include commercial lending across a variety of platforms such as CLO, USDA, Bridge, Mezzanine, and Preferred-Equity for both stabilized and new-construction properties.

Dwight is seeking a team player who has a “no job too big or too small” attitude. A proactive thinker with a can-do mentality who is ambitious and intuitive will prove successful. Dwight is looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and flourishes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Must have the ability to manage time wisely working with high volume, follow up diligently, and regularly communicate status of projects. Our ideal candidate will provide support to the FHA Asset Management team as well as carry out individual responsibilities, while working on new initiatives.  


Role and Responsibilities

• Support Asset Management in collection, tracking, saving down and spreading project financials, including operating statement, balance sheet, bank statements, rent rolls, AP/AR aging schedules, etc. 

• Carry out financial analyses to evaluate project performance and discuss any substantial variances and non-compliance

• Maintain financial performance and occupancy in servicing system                                        

• Manage & distribute collateral performance and Watchlist reporting  

• Support Asset Management in preparation of required HUD forms for advances from reserves held by Lender for repairs, capital improvements, debt service & other

• Work with asset management and technology staff to integrate processes among different systems and automate portfolio management

• Carry out ad hoc projects, as requested


Qualifications

In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics with a strong GPA

• Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple transactions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - financial modeling and risk analysis

• Prior experience with multifamily real estate is a plus
