Fiber Optic Field Engineer (Distributed Acoustic Sensing - DAS)

Job Description:-

* As an Engineer reporting to Project Manager

* Work at site in a team

* Knowledge in MS Office, Computer networking and Linux, C++, etc.

* Knowledge of SCADA/Modbus is preferable.

* Good communication skills (English)

* Engineering Degree / Diploma in Telecom / Electronics with minimum 2-3 years experience

* Knowledge in OSP / ISP & F.O. cable and accessories installation

* Experience in Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) & Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) will be given preference.

* Able to install, commission and maintain the DAS system - Training will be provided.

* Knowledge in Fibre Optic (F.O.) cable splicing / testing (SM & MM) & CD/PMD testing.

* Able to prepare Test reports, Test Certificates & Site diaries.
