Telecom- Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for telecom and ELV/ICT systems, including fiber optics, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, radio systems, and data networks.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation details based on engineering inputs.
• Update drawings according to site changes, engineer comments, and RFI responses.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and telecom authority regulations (e.g., STC, Mobily, CITC).
• Coordinate with project engineers to collect technical information and clarify design requirements.
• Maintain an organized drawing register, revision history, and documentation repository.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cable schedules, schematic diagrams, and layout plans when required.
• Support project teams during site surveys by preparing survey sketches or layout concepts.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Assist in preparing tender drawings and design submittals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and installation teams.
