Project Engineer – Job Description
Basic Requirements
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications (IT), Electronics Engineering, or related field.
2. Technical Experience: Experience in Data Networks, ICT Systems, Security Systems, and other Low Current Systems.
3. Mobility: Ready to work in any city within KSA (Priority: Al Hasa, Khobar).
Project Engineer – Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Preparation/ Initial stage
- Ensure all technical documents, drawings, BOQ, and project information are available at the start of the project. In case if any missing info follows up with the technical team as first priority before starting the project
- Follow up for company submittals until approval (Drawings, Technical submittals etc.)
2. Compliance & Approvals
- Follow the approved BOQ, drawings, and scope strictly during execution.
- Ensure all site teams use only approved drawings, submittals, and documents.
- Prepare and maintain inspection logs, checklists, and progress reports (daily/weekly).
- Ensure timely inspection requests and follow-up with the client/QC for approvals.
3. Planning & Team Coordination
- Break down the project into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for clear task planning.
- Identify required manpower (engineers, technicians, helpers).
- Raise a formal request to PMO/Implementation for manpower allocation and duration.
- Delegate tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Ensure all teams follow the project schedule and daily plan.
4. Site Execution & Supervision
- Lead and supervise all site activities physically.
- Provide technical support and solutions for any site issues raised by the team.
- Monitor site construction progress as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with all contractors and stakeholders to avoid delays.
- Ensure compliance with QC & Safety requirements.
- Manage timesheets and ensure tools are calibrated and available.
5. Material & Resource Management
- Request materials according to project stages and approved BOQ.
- Track material delivery, usage, shortages, and ensure proper storage.
- Coordinate with procurement for urgent or long-lead materials.
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain professional communication with the client and consultants.
- Attend all required site meetings: o Progress meetings o Coordination meetings o Safety meetings o QC/T&C meetings
- Attend client walkthroughs and ensure site readiness for inspections.
- Address client concerns and close all pending comments.
7. Finance & Invoicing
- Coordinate with finance for timely invoice preparation based on progress.
- Track submitted invoices and follow up for approval and payments.
- Report any variation claims or extra work in coordination with the PM/Management.
8. Reporting & Management
- Provide daily/weekly updates to the direct supervisor or Project Manager.
- Manage work pressure from both management and client.
- Highlight risks, delays, and site issues early to avoid escalations.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved as per the schedule.
✔ Closeout & Handover:
Support preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼7,000.00 - ﷼9,000.00 per month
