Location: Assigned District (Keamari/Malir) Cluster, with daily school-level field presence
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Assessments & Data Management
- Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments of student learning in assigned schools and community settings (including out-of-school children).
- Administer the Child Functioning Module (disability screening) with support from the district team.
- Enter and manage assessment and field data accurately in MS Excel, KOBO Toolbox, or other designated data management systems.
- Track student learning progress, maintain updated learner profiles, and ensure accurate record-keeping at school and cluster level.
- Identify children with learning difficulties or special needs and flag for appropriate support.
Out-of-School Children (OOSC) Identification & Enrollment
- Identify out-of-school children through systematic village-level household surveys and community outreach.
- Conduct community meetings and awareness sessions to promote enrollment and retention of out-of-school children in formal schools or learning camps.
- Support sustained enrollment and mainstreaming of camp-attending children into formal school settings.
- Coordinate teacher hiring and identify local teachers/facilitators for CPB/TaRL activities with support from the district team and TEOs where available.
Training Delivery & Teacher Support
- Serve as a Master Trainer for CPB/TaRL foundational learning activities (covering up to Grade 3).
- Plan and conduct structured teacher training sessions, on-site coaching, and regular follow-up support visits.
- Organize and operationalize CPB learning camps in assigned schools.
- Support teachers in the development and contextualisation of localized CPB/TaRL learning materials. Maintain and update the learning materials repository for assigned schools.
Field Monitoring & Reporting
- Conduct daily/regular field visits to monitor class attendance, activity implementation, and child learning.
- Monitor school attendance, report anomalies, and communicate with the programme team on implementation progress.
- Share weekly progress updates against agreed targets with the District Coordinator.
- Assist the District Project Coordinator and safeguarding team in all aspects of programme implementation.
- Ensure child safeguarding standards are upheld and safe learning environments are maintained in all camps and classrooms.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in field-based education programme implementation.
- Experience in teacher training, student assessment, and community mobilization.
- Familiarity with TaRL, FLN, CPB, or activity-based learning approaches strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with communities, teachers, and school administrators.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and/or digital data collection tools (KOBO Toolbox, CSPro).
- Fluency in Sindhi and Urdu; knowledge of local languages of the assigned district preferred.
- Willingness to be stationed in the field and travel extensively within the assigned cluster.
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
