Field Construction Manager Assistant – Power (ID#6379)

We’re looking for a Field Construction Manager Assistant to join our growing team supporting major utility and power projects in Binghamton, NY. This role plays a key part in coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily coordination of field construction and site activities
• Conduct routine site inspections and safety briefings
• Monitor project progress, prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Participate in contractor meetings and track schedule updates
• Manage project logs, documentation, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify completeness
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Track RFIs, design changes, and field modifications
• Support environmental and safety compliance programs
• Verify test data, equipment documentation, and contractor quality records

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Engineering or 5+ years of experience in:
• Construction Management
• Electrical testing, commissioning, and field troubleshooting
• Relay protection, SCADA systems, or maintenance
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities on active job sites

Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Background check clearance
