Field Coordinator Giza
Purpose of the Job:
The Field Coordinator (FC) is responsible for tracking the implementation of the Not Alone Program at the grassroots level. This includes monitoring program activities, ensuring compliance with Coptic Orphans' quality standards and policies, and coordinating with volunteer representatives to support program goals in Giza Area ( Al - Warraq, Imbaba and Shubra El - Kheima). The FC serves as a key communication link with the Area Program Manager, providing timely updates and reporting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Implementation

Conduct regular field visits to oversee program activities and ensure compliance with approved plans and policies.

Review and determine the eligibility of nominated volunteer representatives and child participants.

Facilitate orientations for newly nominated volunteer representatives.

Monitor the work of volunteer representatives, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.

Provide coaching and capacity-building support to volunteer representatives as part of ongoing performance monitoring and field support.

Ensure proper program delivery within the allocated budget and program policies.
Financial Compliance and Reporting

Review and audit expense and needs assessment reports submitted by volunteer representatives, ensuring financial compliance.

Conduct periodic financial spot-checks and report discrepancies to the Area Program Manager.

Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly field reports covering activities, financials, and challenges.
Administrative and Logistical Support

Assist in planning and coordinating program events and logistics, including training workshops, meetings with representatives, participants, and mothers, as well as sponsor visits.

Maintain up-to-date records of program activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.

Follow up on administrative requests, including letters, pictures, and family reports for sponsors.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in field coordination, community development, or project tracking.

Experience working with the Coptic community is an asset.

Basic proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Good presentation and training skills.

Ability to commute and travel between different sites in the assigned area.

Ability to administer and utilize available resources to reach the program's goals.

Ability to assess social situations and act tactfully and responsibly.
Travel and Working requirements

Travel may reach up to 80% of the time.
-
Work involves frequent local travel within assigned program areas.

Work environment includes field settings with walking, sitting, typing, using public transportation, and occasional lifting of materials.

May require working outside official hours and on weekends as needed.
