Role Overview
We are seeking a highly responsible and professionally experienced Field Executive with a background in events, vendor management, procurement, or market sourcing. The selected candidate will manage both field operations and office coordination, ensuring smooth sourcing, vendor relations, documentation, and product quality evaluation.
This is a performance‑oriented role requiring strong communication skills, disciplined work habits, and the ability to represent Booncart in the market with professionalism. The candidate must possess a bike and a valid driving licence.
Engagement Structure
During this phase, the candidate will:
- Understand Booncart’s sourcing framework, product categories, procurement process, and vendor onboarding requirements.
- Participate in field visits, vendor meetings, and supervised sourcing tasks.
- Assist the team in collecting product information, pricing, quotations, photographs, and samples.
- Learn internal workflows, documentation standards, and reporting formats.
- Undergo performance evaluation based on discipline, communication, quality of reporting, and execution capability.
2. Probation Period – 6 Months (Including Training)
Responsibilities expand to:
- Independently handling vendor interactions, sourcing requirements, and follow‑ups.
- Coordinating with internal teams for product listing, sample verification, and timely documentation submission.
- Managing field visits, price negotiations, and supplier relationships with minimal supervision.
- Supporting office operations related to procurement, verification of inventory data, and maintaining vendor files.
3. On‑Role Placement (Post 6 Months)
Based on overall work performance, reliability, behaviour, and initiative.
4. Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to local markets, suppliers, and wholesalers to identify new vendors and product categories relevant to Booncart.
- Perform detailed product sourcing including décor, event essentials, return gifts, festival items, pooja products, candle décor, themed collections, etc.
- Collect product samples and ensure they meet Booncart’s quality standards in terms of design, pricing, durability, and uniqueness.
- Negotiate product prices, MOQs, margins, and delivery terms with vendors in a professional and structured manner.
- Verify vendor authenticity, assess manufacturing or wholesale capability, and evaluate long‑term partnership potential.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure steady supply and smooth communication.
- Follow up on product readiness, sample availability, price clarifications, and documentation submissions.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors by collecting required documents (GST, bank details, product lists, etc.).
- Communicate Booncart’s policies, category expectations, packaging requirements, and quality guidelines.
Product & Operational Support
- Support the internal product listing team by sharing accurate product images, dimensions, pricing, and detailed descriptions.
- Ensure that all sourced products are documented correctly with proper SKU information.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of products required for photoshoots or urgent listings.
- Assist in resolving vendor‑related issues related to delays, pricing mismatches, or product discrepancies.
Market Research & Analysis
- Regularly study market trends, pricing differences, new category opportunities, and competitor product availability.
- Identify products with high demand, seasonal trends, and unique items suitable for Booncart.
- Prepare structured reports with findings and recommendations for the management team.
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily/weekly field activity reports summarising visits, progress, issues, and vendor updates.
- Maintain detailed vendor files with contact details, product lists, quotations, and communication notes.
- Ensure complete transparency of sourcing costs, sample expenses, and negotiations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bike and valid driving licence.
- 1–3 years of experience in events, procurement, sourcing, vendor operations, or market coordination preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage fieldwork efficiently across Hyderabad.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic documentation.
- Highly organised, disciplined, and capable of independent decision‑making.
- Professional behaviour and ability to represent Booncart in external interactions.
