Job Overview
Field IT Support Engineers
to provide
on-site technical support
and
smart hands assistance
for IT infrastructure, desktop, and data center operations at client sites in Oman.
Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and operating system issues.

Install, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Perform smart hands and feet support in data center environments under instruction.

Support basic network activities including LAN/WAN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP troubleshooting.

Conduct preventive maintenance and root cause analysis for recurring issues.

Handle PC break/fix, basic administration of Windows, and optionally Mac/Linux OS.

Provide peripheral and networking hardware assistance (routers, switches, racks, etc.).

Maintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).

Ensure compliance with customer security and hardware warranty policies.
Technical Requirements

2–3 years of strong experience in IT infrastructure field support.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fixing desktops, laptops, and printers.

Familiarity with network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP).

Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge of problem management and repeat call analysis.

Experience using ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Preferred Certifications:

CompTIA A+

Associate Degree in Electronics or related field

OEM certifications (Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, HP, etc.)
