About Ellopages

Ellopages is a growing digital business listing platform that helps local businesses improve their online presence and connect with customers. We are expanding our operations and seeking a Marketing Manager who will primarily lead Field Sales, Business Acquisition, and On-ground Marketing efforts.

Position Overview

This is a lead role where the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a field team, driving business listings, generating revenue, and growing Ellopages' presence across assigned territories.
While digital knowledge is valuable, field sales leadership is the core requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Sales Leadership

  • Lead, train, and manage a team of Field Marketing Executives.
  • Plan and execute daily field activities across markets/areas.
  • Ensure targets for lead generation, business onboarding, and paid listings are met.
  • Monitor team performance and provide on-ground support when required.

2. Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth

  • Drive end-to-end acquisition of local businesses across categories (restaurants, clinics, salons, shops, services, etc.).
  • Meet key business owners, pitch Ellopages plans, and close deals.
  • Achieve monthly revenue and paid subscription goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with local business communities & associations.

3. On-ground Marketing & Market Expansion

  • Identify new areas, zones, and business clusters for expansion.
  • Plan campaigns, field activations, and business promotion events.
  • Ensure visibility of Ellopages through local marketing activities.

4. Training, Reporting & Team Development

  • Conduct regular training sessions for field staff (pitching, objection handling, product knowledge).
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports: daily visits, conversions, and revenues.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to improve processes and strategies.

5. Customer Relationship & Retention

  • Maintain strong rapport with onboarded businesses.
  • Handle escalations related to listings, verification, and customer onboarding.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in field sales / business development / on-ground marketing.
  • Prior experience leading field teams is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work on the ground, travel extensively, and manage multiple areas.
  • Target-driven personality with a passion for business growth.
  • Graduation in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in local business acquisition, digital marketing platforms, or listing marketplaces.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure sales cycles and motivate teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,637.43 - ₹33,830.60 per month

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Required)
