Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and field-focused Field Officer (Biomass Division) to oversee biomass procurement, collection, and on-ground operational activities. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage suppliers, resolve field issues, and support sustainable sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, visit, and engage biomass suppliers across assigned regions.
• Assess the quality, availability, and pricing of biomass materials (e.g., crop residue, husk, bagasse).
• Conduct field surveys, collect data, and prepare reports for procurement and management teams.
• Resolve on-ground issues related to collection, logistics, or supplier coordination.
• Monitor market trends, seasonal availability, and competitor activity in the region.
• Support the sourcing team in ensuring the timely and efficient collection of biomass.
• Build and maintain relationships with farmers, vendors, and local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and sustainability practices during field operations.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in biomass or agricultural procurement/field operations.
• Understanding of sustainable sourcing methods and biomass material types.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and field coordination abilities.
• Technical knowledge of biomass and agricultural processes.
• Flexibility to travel extensively across Punjab.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of biomass categories and agricultural residue.
• Strong field data collection and reporting skills.
• Market research understanding.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with local regions and on-ground environments.

60,000 to 65,000 (based on experience and qualifications).

Timings:

Mon–Fri 9 AM to 6 PM | Sat 10 AM to 4 PM
