Position: Field Sales & Marketing Engineer
Location: Chennai, Ambattur
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Field Sales (preferably in industrial / engineering sector)
Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech/ B.Com/BA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related disciplines preferred)
Mode of Work: Field-based, client-facing
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers within Chennai for sales of industrial products/solutions.
- Conduct field visits, cold calling, and client meetings to generate new business opportunities.
- Demonstrate and explain technical features and benefits of products to customers.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets through effective pipeline management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and coordinate with the internal team for order processing.
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
- Provide weekly sales reports and market feedback to the management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of proven field sales experience.
- 2-wheeler with valid license (mandatory for client visits within Chennai).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai city limits.
