Duties and responsibilities

  1. Schedule daily visits for street and hospital pharmacies to take orders of prescription products.
  2. Schedule daily visits for street and hospital pharmacies to get orders of non-prescription products via offering the pharmacies our bonus schemes tailored to their needs.
  3. Collect PDC from pharmacies.
  4. Open accounts with new pharmacies.
  5. Maintain long-term relation with current and potential customers.
  6. Assist the pharmacists in monitoring their stocks from portfolio insuring sufficient stock levels and avoiding expiries.
  7. Respond to emerging customer needs within the context of the company policy (collection of expiries, returning wrong orders etc…)
  8. Communicate current prices and updates.
  9. Communicate brief information about the new products.
  10. Communicate a favorable image of the company.
  11. Marketing intelligence role by continuous provision of information related to our products, customers’ needs and competitive activities.
  12. Continuous exchange of relevant information with the medical reps.
  13. On receiving of Statement of Account from Finance, delivering it to the customer and follow-up for payments. Collection of Cheques based on the Customers Payment terms during their Field Visits or advising the stores/ delivery man to collect the same. Handover the cheques to Finance and deliver the receipts to the customers.
  14. Collection of Expiry from the Customers for Expiry Replacement / for Destruction. (Refer Expiry Management Policy)
  15. Adding of new customers to our list based on the policy defined by Management & Finance.
  16. Providing the Customer service by reviewing the Status of the Orders such as waiting for approval, Invoicing, Picking stage, preparation stage, delivery Stage…etc.
  17. In case of closing of Customer sites, follow-up for pending payments and settling of the Accounts.
  18. Schedule meeting with the principles and customers for agreements and contracts
  19. Market feedback for the competitive products and their activities
  20. Market survey for any new products as requested by the management
  21. Merchandise our complete range in visible location inside the pharmacies
  22. Invite customers for CME related meeting with the principles
  23. Provide information about the non-moving items in the hospitals and street pharmacies and reasons behind it


Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any subject
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar position
  • Valid UAE Driving License
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • UAE market knowledge
  • Product knowledge
  • Physically fit
