Field Service Engineer

About the role!
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for theinstallation, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)of advanced analytical instruments—including ACQUITY HPLC/UPLC systems—atcustomer sites and in-house.

What you’ll do Perform installation, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance on Waters ACQUITY HPLC/UPLC, and related analytical instruments (e.g., Agilent, Shimadzu, Thermo, Dionex). Execute IQ/OQ/PQ qualification protocols and maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, and safety standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot operational problems on complex laboratory equipment, including GC, LC, UPLC, and related peripherals (e.g., headspace, autosamplers). Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each service ticket and regulatory submission. Maintain strong customer relationships and identify business opportunities for service growth. Participate in the growth of the region and company by supporting business development initiatives. Travel to various customer locations as required; overnight travel may be necessary.

What you’ll need
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations. Experience with Mass Spectrometry & Chromatography (Waters, QDa & ACQUITY Specialist)

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Field Service Engineer is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Field Service Engineer position is $130,000 position is annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
