Field Service Engineer – Electrical

Position Summary:
Looking for a qualified Electrical Field Service Engineer for diesel and gas gensets. Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems at customer sites across Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission genset electrical systems and Deep Sea control panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Replace faulty components and recommend system improvements.
• Provide on-site support and train customer personnel on electrical operation.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory and ensure safety compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of electrical field service experience with gensets.
• Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, or Jenbacher genset electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions and flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical diploma/certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Manufacturer-specific electrical training (Caterpillar, Cummins, Jenbacher).
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
