Steam Turbine Field Service Supervisor

A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy Turkiye is seeking Steam Turbine Field Service Supervisors. This is for our Industry Business, unit transformation. We are responsible for turbine installation and service.

Your role as Field Service Supervisor will be to manage installation, conduct maintenance on Siemens energy Industrial Steam Turbines, coordinate with different team members, and communicate job requirements effectively.

How You'll Make an Impact

Site preparation and check of tools, parts, equipment, internal resources and subcontractor resource activities on site is required for the work execution
Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of check sheets, test procedures, spare part's list, daily shift activities, status reports, field reports to the required quality on assembly/disassembly activities during all outages. Leading site activities, controlling technicians and coordinating other subcontractors is also a part of the role
Identify technical problems, take appropriate actions to resolve, provide expert advice and technical assistance
Develop positive relationships and work with our customers as well as counterparts in Türkiye and regional headquarters
Align with the EHS guidelines and Quality standards in the related field works
Actively support with post outage activities such as lesson learn documentation, staff survey and feedback on demand

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering
3-5 years working experience in field service environment
Knowledge of and working experience with large rotating equipment, especially steam turbines, would be an asset. General profound understanding of technical specifications and how to work with it, based on drawings, manuals, technical documentation etc.
Experience working at Power Generation Unit.
Strong analytical skills with an affinity with technology and innovation in the service industry combined with a proactive and convincing attitude
Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken in English

What else do I need to know?

In case of necessity to work on public holidays/weekend
Flexible for travelling about 70% yearly

- Based in Ankara is an asset but not required - remote location after completion of training & certification phase is also possible.
