Qualified candidates must have experience in field erection/on-site installation of large ductwork, structural steel and process piping. Welding experience is a requirement. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, hold a valid drivers license, comfortable working at heights and be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using SMAW and /or FCAW welding and other techniques to fabricate metal components.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure all work meets applicable codes and standards for safety and quality.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder with proficiency in Stick and Fluxcore welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
• Experience operating cranes and other heavy machinery is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols in a construction site environment.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
