Job Description
Client Requirement:
Drivers: The selected vendor shall supply the drivers according to requirements stated in the Scope of Work below. The duration of service will be for one month only.
- Scope of work
- The Driver must be licensed and permitted to drive nationwide in the State of Qatar.
- The driver will be driving light truck / heavy van. Experience with driving long vehicles is a must.
- Service for a driver must be provided for a maximum of 45 hours/ week, five days per week.
- Drivers must be available for shifting schedules of either 7AM-3PM, 8AM-5PM or 2PM-10PM as may be required.
- The requirement is for the FIFA Event; therefore, the drivers must be available on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays as may be required on game days.
- Vendor or driver’s sponsor must provide a No Objection Letter which may be required for acquiring passes and access to restricted areas of the FIFA event.
- The driver must have in-depth knowledge and operation of map apps like Google Map, Google Earth, Waze, etc.
- The driver must be physically fit to manually carry equipment for transport, delivery and set up at work sites such as stadiums, building rooftops, and other remote locations.
- The bidding vendor must submit CV’s of candidate drivers indicating work experiences related to the requirement for Client’s review.
- It is Client's sole discretion to select the vendor with qualified drivers.
- DELIVERY
- The driver shall report to Headquarters at Al Nasr Tower B, West Bay.
- The driver will be hired for only one (1) month.
- Client has the sole discretion to select the driver from the vendors candidates.
- In case of availability or unavoidable leave of absence within the duration of the contract, the vendor must provide a replacement driver with the approval of the client
- The winning vendor shall be paid only for services rendered. No extra payment more than the contracted amount.
