Finance & Accounting Manager

We are looking for a “Finance & Accounting Manager” to be assigned to our ''Financial Affairs'' department located in İstanbul HQ.


WHAT DO WE EXPECT?


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduated from Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Finance or related departments of universities.
  • CPA and/or CMA are preferrable.
  • At least 8-10 years of accounting, finance, banking or corporate finance experience.
  • Financial reporting, budgeting and audit coordination.
  • Strong experience in team management, financial strategy and risk management.
  • Advanced experience in SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS and accounting standards.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Competence in leadership, team development and motivation.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Negotiation and communication skills.
  • Awareness of high ethical standards, confidentiality and reliability.


WHAT AWAITS YOU?


Support to Strategy and Planning:

  • Support the implementation of short and long term strategies.
  • Developing recommendations on investment, financing and cost optimization.
  • Analyzing the budget / actual results of its area of responsibility and reporting deviations.


Cash, Bank and Financial Product Management:

  • Control daily/weekly cash flow and report funding needs.
  • Managing bank relations at the operational level; supporting the coordination of loans, deposits, guarantees, letters of credit and similar products.
  • Monitoring bank expenses, interest income and financial product performance.
  • Daily communication with stakeholders.


Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Preparing reports and analyzes on foreign exchange and interest rate risks and submitting them to the Finance Director.
  • To monitor the compliance of transactions made within the framework of tax, legislation and company policies.
  • Ensure fulfillment of Bank KYC, FATCA/CRS and other regulatory requirements.


Internal Control and Audit:

  • Managing the accounting team and providing support in highly complex transactions.
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Overseeing payment processes and approval mechanisms, improving internal control and compliance processes.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of records in SAP and other financial systems, making improvements in processes.
  • Coordinating the provision of necessary documents in internal and external audit processes.


Team Management and Coordination:

  • Managing the finance operations team, allocating tasks and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring for the development of team members.
  • Implementing improvements to increase the efficiency of departmental processes.
  • Supporting the company to achieve its financial targets by ensuring effective coordination with purchasing, accounting, legal and other departments.
