Finance and Account Manager

Opportunity Notes:

This is a complete work from home international work opportunity. You will be required to work during 9:00 am to 6:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday. Holidays are granted based on Canadian scheduled holidays.

Job Description

Our staff accountant position focuses on providing direct tangible support and reports to the CEO of the company. This position requires to apply financial applications to our mortgage lending, real estate transactions and investment companies.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Perform daily book-keeping and monthly bank reconciliation for all company bank and credit accounts
  • Comply with regulatory guidelines when performing reconciliation and record keeping activities
  • Prepare all records and books and coordinate with company’s accounting firms for Year End Filings
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivables, and perform the necessary record keeping
  • Remit taxes to the CRA and IRS as required
  • Perform Staff and Agent Payroll on a weekly basis
  • Management of company funds as required
  • Preparing invoices, collection payments using EFT and Merchant Service services
  • Issuing government documents and reporting to government agencies as required
  • Coordinating with CRA and IRS on tax related mattes and issues as required
  • Communicate with Business Partners
  • Handle all accounting and financial related inquiries on the company’s behalf
  • Maintain a high level of care and confidentiality when handling company materials

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year post secondary degree in Accounting and Finance
  • Chartered Accountant Designation, or a MBA in Accounting/Finance required
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in an accounting role required, preferred in a financial and investments company
  • 2-3 years work experience in a Sales and Customer Relationship environment
  • 2-3 years work experience in North American company while working in a North American Time Zone preferred
  • Proficiency in software tools including Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online, MS Office, CRM’s, cloud-based work environments and internet applications
  • Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
  • A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills

Other Requirement:

  • A desktop workstation based on our specifications with 2 hours battery backup
  • A headset microphones
  • Internet with backup power
  • Electricity backup (Ups/Generator/Others)
  • Dedicated area/separate room for work

Salary:

  • Final Salary to be determined based on experience, certifications, and qualifications

Schedule:

  • Eastern Standard Time (Toronto time)
  • Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
