We are looking for a
''Finance and Accounting Manager''
for our global business partner operates in manufacturing sector and located in Kartal-İstanbul for temporary.
The responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, building a top-notch finance and accounting team, ensuring a profitable result overseeing FP&A (financial planning & analysis) functions, working with department heads to analyse financial data and craft budgets, attesting to the accuracy of reports and consulting with boards of directors and the Manager on strategy. The Manager is also responsible compliance and ensuring that the company meets its employment equity goals and supports the Manager collaboratively for benefit and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Reporting:

Implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives • Coordinate and monitor the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts • Responsible for overall Profit and Loss monitoring and reporting monthly to both local and international management,

Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making, Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the executive team, Oversee and support the preparation and submission of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with Turkish and applicable international laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Oversee the preparation and submission of financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory reports,
-
Develop and implement robust internal control processes to manage financial risks,
-
Conduct regular reviews of financial activities and recommend improvements as needed,
-
Act as the globally appointed local compliance officer.
Responsible Person :

Fulfill the role within the Managing board as required by Company,
-
Prepare board pack and report to the board of directors on the financial performance of the company,
-
When necessary, perform company secretarial duties,
-
Public Officer for financial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Ensure submission of statutory returns, compliance with tax laws, and liaison with relevant tax authorities,

Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Procurement and Accounts Payable:

Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and guidelines,
-
Review and approve supplier contracts and agreements,
-
Supervise accounts payable activities and ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
Accounts Receivable and Finance :
-
Monitor and manage the accounts receivable process, including credit limits, debt collection, and cash flow

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and revenue recognition
Treasury:
-
Oversee treasury and cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting • Advise in banking relationships,
-
Oversee the process, SARB compliance and approval of cross-border transactions and payments,
-
Manage currency risks, including hedging requirements.
Order Management :

Provide financial insights and analysis to support project planning and delivery • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability,

Identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Strong financial background in managing small sized companies esp. in the area of manufacturing including closing, tax, accounting, controlling, and legal aspects • Must have a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification or relevant equivalent qualification

Solid understanding of Turkish tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations, as well as the Companies Act
