Job Summary: As a Finance Assistant at Taskaler, you will focus on managing day-to-day finance processes and playing a key role in the client’s reporting. Attention to detail is crucial, and you should be able to prioritize and plan your work effectively to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Monitor the Inbox on a Daily Basis and Action All Emails

  • Check and manage the finance inbox daily, ensuring all emails are acknowledged and actioned promptly.
  • Respond to internal and external finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Forward or escalate specific matters to the appropriate team member when required.

2) Complete All B2B Sales Invoices for All Entities on a Weekly Basis

  • Prepare, review, and issue B2B sales invoices for all business entities.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, compliant with company policies, and aligned with customer agreements.
  • Maintain proper records of invoices issued and coordinate with relevant departments for any discrepancies.

3) Allocate Customer Bank Receipts on Xero on a Daily Basis for All Entities (GCR / GUI / Bottleshot)

  • Accurately allocate customer payments and bank receipts in Xero for all entities.
  • Verify transaction details to ensure proper matching of payments and invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of daily receipts and report any variances or unidentified payments to the Finance Manager.

4) Onboard New B2B Customers

  • Support the setup and onboarding of new B2B customers in financial systems.
  • Collect and verify customer details and ensure all compliance documentation is complete.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

5) Review and Reconcile All Accounts/Statements

  • Perform periodic account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Review supplier and customer statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and month-end closing activities as required.

Requirements:

  • At least have 2 years of experience working as a Finance Assistant.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a ACCA certified.
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and entities.
