About this Role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our VSSE Finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting financial performance, cost and revenue management, and pricing strategies. The individual will act as a trusted advisor to FinOps SL and enabling functions, ensuring financial insights are clearly communicated and tailored to diverse audiences. Success in this role requires a blend of commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and strong stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather budget forecasts and pipeline opportunities.
  • Review and analyse forecasted headcount, OPEX, volumes, and revenues during budget cycles.
  • Ensure budgeted OPEX aligns with actual expenditure and report on cost drivers.
  • Monitor and challenge cost elements within the P&L to ensure accuracy.
  • Audit and analyse business expenditure, conversion rates, and FTE overheads.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Influence decision-making through clear, concise presentations and ethical judgement.
  • Navigate ambiguity and risk while aligning with future business strategies.

Who you are

  • Holder of a B.Sc./Degree, preferably in Finance.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen and financial expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and time management capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in cross-cultural and matrix environments.
  • Ethical, principled, and confident in forming and defending opinions.
