Finance Coordinator – Accounts Payable

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Coordinator – Accounts Payable to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance team. In addition, the role requires strong skills in QuickBooks, Excel, and Canva for reporting, data management, and creating professional presentations/visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Verify, reconcile, and maintain vendor invoices, statements, and payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and documentation for management.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounts payable records.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial entries.
  • Utilize Excel for financial data analysis, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Create visually appealing financial presentations and reports using Canva.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, reports).
  • Experience with Canva or other design tools for financial reporting/presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in creating dashboards or financial visuals.
  • Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
