Finance Director - Textile

A leading company in the textile industry, well-known for their innovative products and commitment to sustainability. They have established a strong market presence and offers a wide collection of home textiles. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead their financial operations.
As the Finance Director, you will be instrumental in driving financial performance and supporting the company's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing senior management with the necessary financial insights to drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Managing financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Overseeing financial audits and implementing necessary measures for compliance.
• Conducting financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost management.
• Building robust financial models to support operational decisions and future growth.
• Maintaining relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role within the textile or manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Demonstrable experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, coupled with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the textile industry or similar manufacturing environment is a plus.
