Finance Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry. The candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensure timely processing of financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare payment vouchers, journal vouchers, and bank payments.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Verify vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.
• Coordinate with operations and shipping departments regarding invoices, shipping costs, freight charges, and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Experience in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry will be preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
